For The First Time, Black Voter Turnout Passes Whites In 2012
By most measures black American’s voted at a highter rate than other minority groups in 2012. Researchers say the Presidential race to re-elect a black president may have had a lot to do with it. Data showed a large turnout amongst black while many whites stayed home.
Information from Census indicate that whites and black will continue to be the two largest voting groups for the next decade.
