NC A&T Campus On Lockdown

North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro was put on lockdown shortly before 10am on Friday morning after a man was seen carrying a rifle on campus.

The school posted an alert on its website asking everyone to stay inside and lock classrooms, doors and windows.

Officials say the man was described as black, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, blue cap and white T-shirt.

Greensboro police quickly made it to the campus.
