Wren Memorial Library Announces Programs and Events in July

The Wren Memorial Library is pleased to announce July events for the Chatham County community. The following events are free, open to the public, and will be held at 500 N 2nd Ave, Siler City, 27344.
Cookie Creations
Wednesday, July 9th, 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Join us for a delightful storytime before diving into the fun of decorating your own cookie…and eating it too! This program is in partnership with Confectious Creations.
Color Our World Green
Wednesday, July 16th, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Join us for a storytime filled with tales of gardens, fruits, and nature’s wonders! There will also be a light food tasting and creative fun craft activity that celebrates the beauty of green themes. This program is presented by a Chatham County Master Gardener volunteer.
Friends of the Library $5 Bag Book Sale
Friday, July 18th, 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Don’t miss the Friends of the Wren Memorial Library Book Sale! This “Fill a Bag” sale is only $5! Bags will be provided. All items are in excellent condition. Admission is free and there are no buyer limits. Purchases can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Sale proceeds benefit the library by enabling the purchase of new books, materials, and equipment, supporting new children’s programs, as well as improving technology and services.
Adult Watercolor Flower Ink Doodles
Wednesday, July 23rd, 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Unleash your creativity at our watercolor ink flower doodle class for adults! Dive into a relaxing session where you can learn to craft beautiful floral designs using watercolor inks. This program is presented by Chatham County Parks & Rec. All supplies are provided.
Bird Friendly Gardens
Tuesday, July 29th, 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Join us to learn how to create a bird friendly garden to help our declining bird populations. We will delve into what bushes, trees and flowers are best. This class is presented by Chatham County Master Gardener volunteers.
