Oprah Winfrey And T.D. Jakes Dismiss Rumors On Diddy’s Parties
Oprah Winfrey and Bishop T.D. Jakes Deny Attending Diddy’s Controversial Parties
Oprah Winfrey and Bishop T.D. Jakes have both publicly dismissed rumors linking them to parties hosted by embattled music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Speaking at the Good Soil Forum in Dallas, Texas, the pair addressed the rumors directly, according to EEW Magazine, a publication of the Christian media outlet Empowering Everyday Women.
Winfrey, 71, firmly denied any association with the events. “I have never been near a Puff party,” she said. “Anyone who knows me knows I’m the first to leave a party. That’s just not who I am. I’d rather be at home with my dogs, by the fire, reflecting.”
Bishop Jakes, 68, acknowledged making a brief daytime visit to one of Combs’s events. “I stopped by Puffy’s house for 30 minutes around two in the afternoon to wish him a happy birthday—along with some staff,” he clarified.
