Known for the powerful message in her songs, Erica explains to us where the lyrics of this track came from.
“When it came to me, it really resonated the area, whether we acknowledge her or not where we all struggle sharing God’s voice and following it, hearing his instruction and being OK with it, you know, or sometimes when the message is doesn’t feel so good because unfortunately we have equated God goodness with good things and not acknowledging that he’s good even when things are not good” says Campbell. He’s good when he tells you to quit a thing, he’s still good when you lose a thing.
The song’s title is sung over and over, but what is the message Erica hope listeners receieve from the song?
“I hope that it strengthens their relationship because it’s hard to love someone and not trust them. You know, usually if you don’t trust them, it affects your love, it affects how you listen, it affects how you respond, but when you love and you trust them, then when they speak to you like it’s all good! I love you; you love me.”
