Duke Energy customers will see lower rates in December and January; thanks to falling gas prices.

Starting Dec. 1, rates began dropping for Duke Energy Progress residential customers

Rates for fuel fell by 4.5% as part of an annual adjustment to generate electricity at the utility’s power plants, according to Duke Energy.

So when they save money Duke Energy passes along the saving to its customers.
