Rituals to Manifest Divine Love on the Libra New Moon

We are now wrapping the final Eclipse of 2024. And what a year of eclipses it has been! Even if you’re not into this “woo woo” stuff, I’m sure the eclipse on April 8 caught your attention. On September 17 when we had a very powerful Lunar Eclipse. And now today (October 2), we are entering a New Moon in Libra Solar Eclipse.

A solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the earth and the sun, blocking some or all of the sun’s light from reaching earth. The moon casts a shadow on earth during a solar eclipse. One of the main themes for this Solar Eclipse is around partnership and justice which means we will see justice being served in our daily lives and on the world stage. Because Libra is ruled by Venus and Libras are big on partnership, this is an opportune time to call in the love that you seek using spiritual rituals.

Why spiritual rituals?

Since the beginning of time, humanity has used prayers and working with the earth’s elements to manifest what was needed for their comfort here on earth. In the three rituals below, I show you how to do the same to swiftly manifest your divine union. Doing these during the Solar Eclipse helps to amplify everything you are doing.

Take note that ideally you would do all three of the rituals, but if you don’t have time then do what you can, starting with the Burn & Release, at the very least. The most powerful time to do these new moon love rituals are within 48 hours of the eclipse but going forward you can do them on Fridays.

1. Burn & Release

The power of this Libra New Moon eclipse to bring you into Divine Union can not be emphasized enough. This eclipse portal will be the most potent within the first 48 hours which is when this ritual should be done.

You can start at exactly 11:42am EST on October 2, which is the exact time of the Solar Eclipse or anytime after that.

Here you are simply calling in what you want from love and releasing what you don’t want from love. Here’s how it works and here’s what you’ll need to have on hand:

• A pink, red or white candle and something to light it with
• A teaspoon of coconut or olive oil
• Salt
• Sage bundle
• Two pieces of paper
• Writing instrument
• A ceramic or metal bowl filled with water

Here’s how you execute the ritual:

• Find a quiet spot in your home.
• Light the sage bundle and sage yourself and the area that you are sitting in.
• Sage the candle.
• Mix a bit of the oil and salt together and either drizzle it on top of the candle or rub the salted oil all over the candle. Don’t cover the wick. Use a TINY bit of oil.
• Light the candle.
• Grab your writing tool and your parchment paper.
• On one piece of the paper write a list of all the things you want to cast out from love. (Ex: depression, anxiety, infidelity, poverty, disease). Try and list at least 5 things.
• Take a photo of this list.
• Once done, rub a bit of oil and salt all over the paper and then burn it by the flame of the candle while envisioning that all of these negative things are being released from your life.
• Drop the burning paper into the bowl filled with water.
• Spend the next 10 minutes reading the list out loud over and over again while staring into the flame of the candle.
• Next you’ll make another list calling out all the things you want in love. (Ex: humor, great intimacy, love for each other’s families).
• Take a photo of this list.
• Rub the salt and oil over the paper and also burn it by the flame of the candle.
• Spend the next 10 minutes reading the list out loud over and over again while staring into the flame of the candle.
• Spend the next 48 hours reciting both lists out loud. You can add any prayers or mantras that you like.

The first time you do this ritual, following it up by crafting your emotional board would be ideal. You can spend 48 hours from the start of the Eclipse crafting your emotional board.

2. Craft an Emotional Board

An emotional board is similar to a vision board, but also not. This is a signature tool that I created for myself and for clients. It’s a method to help you create the feeling that you wish to experience in whatever experience you are calling in. Often we’ll place things on our vision board like a great new job, assuming that will make us happy, but it doesn’t always because we forget to include the emotions. So when it comes to love, what’s even more important than looks is how you make each other feel.

With an emotion board, instead of putting up photos of items that you want, you are going to put up words of emotions you want to feel in this partnership.

Here’s how you craft this beautiful tool to harness the power and the speed to bring in your Divine Union:

• Craft it on beautiful quality paper and use colors of red, gold, pink, green
• Write an “umbrella Divine Union mantra” at the top of the board such as: This My Divine Union Request & All Will Manifest With Ease
• Make sure you place it somewhere that you will see daily (this is key)
• To get the actual words: you can type up words on your computer and print them out or use old magazines etc
• You can also include an image of a heart or something that symbolizes romantic love to you – I would suggest also printing out a photo of a couple who represent what you wish for in a Divine Union
• Here are just a few journal prompts to help you conjure up emotions so you know what words to put on your Emotions Board:
  •  What feeling do I want to experience with my person during our intimate physical moments? (ex: strong, passionate, tender, earth shattering)
  • What feelings do I want to experience when I see my person on a daily basis? (ex:joy, relief, calm)
  • What feelings do I want to experience during a disagreement with my person? (ex: anxiety, anger, end of the world, growth)
  • What feelings do I want to experience with my person’s family? (ex: comfort, humor, love, acceptance)
  • What feelings do I want to experience with my person when either one of us is having a hard time in life? (ex: understood, validated, supported)

Stare at this board daily for at least 10 mins while listening to a heart chakra meditation and staring into the flame of a candle (ideally one that is pink, gold, or red).

3. Take a Heart Opening Sacred Bath:

Once you’ve done at least one of the rituals above, you should finish out the evening with a heart-opening sacred bath. The point of this bath is exactly what it says: To open your heart to love. Bathing in this way will help to facilitate the lists you made during the Burn & Release ritual as well as activate the emotional board. If you don’t have a bathtub you can mix together the ingredients in a jar and just rub it over your body before getting into the shower.

With this bath, you’ll want to sit in the water for at least 30 mins with the lights out under candlelight.

Here are the ingredients for the Heart Opening Sacred Bath: (fyi: you will mix the ingredients together and then dump them into the bath while the water is still running.)

• 3 cups of Epsom Salt
• 5 tablespoons of Jojoba Oil
• 10 Drops of Essential Rose Oil,
• 10 drops of Lavender Oil,,
• Optional: Dried Rose Petals (White, Pink or Red)
• Optional: Drop in a few pieces of Rose and Clear Quartz Crystals

NOTE: You can repeat this bath several times during the 48 hours from the start of the eclipse and a good day to take this bath is on Fridays.

And there you have it! I wish you much luck and success in calling in your divine love. Take note that these rituals can be done cumulatively or individually, and again, the energy will be the most potent during the first 48 hours of the eclipse. These rituals can also be performed on Fridays, which is the day ruled by Venus.
